Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field with two (2) years of experience in an office setting preferably with an emphasis on Human Resources.
Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Prepares job postings and places notices in selected recruitment sources.
Attends career fairs as required.
Conducts interviews, establishes interview panels; determines appropriate interview questions.
Completes written offer letters.
Conducts reference checks.
Coordinates required pre-employment testing.
Provides employee orientation; explains County policies, benefit packages and employment information to employees.
Maintains HRIS; inputs information and data.
Maintains, personnel, medical, and confidential files of both current and former employees.
Creates files for new hires.
Provides confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Director and Assistant Director.
Assists new and existing employees with enrolling and managing their benefits, provides benefit orientation.
May process status changes and open enrollment benefit plan transfers.
Ensures timely submission of all insurance and benefit documents for enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Addresses and resolves customer questions as able and refers complex inquiries, requests, or complaints to appropriate staff.
Composes routine correspondence; proofreads and edits documents.
Enters, scans, updates, and maintains information in spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
Maintains electronic and paper filing and record systems to provide easy access to records and information; provides retention of records as required by Department and County policies.
Assists with designing, creating, and editing written and electronic resource, events, or marketing materials etc.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field with two (2) years of experience in an office setting preferably with an emphasis on Human Resources.
Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working with HRIS.
Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY This position provides administrative and program support to the human resources department; and provides responsive, courteous, and efficient customer service in support of departmental operations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
