Greets and assists visitors.
Reports safety/security concerns in accordance with County policy.
Answers phone calls and routes within the facility as appropriate.
Responds to inquiries regarding programs, services, or complaints and refers individuals to appropriate staff.
Notifies office staff of visitors or schedules appointments as appropriate.
Assists with mail distribution, including sorting resident, staff, and postal mail.
Orders office and miscellaneous supplies as directed.
Coordinates repair service for multifunction machines and vending machines as required.
Schedules appointments, conference rooms, and vehicles or transportation, as required.
Creates, proofs, edits, and/or formats routine correspondence, reports, and newsletter articles, etc.
Enters, scans, updates, and maintains information in spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
Performs routine office clerical functions; opens and distributes office mail; files, faxes, and photocopies documents; maintains office supplies, materials, and equipment.
Receives and processes payments, applying payment to proper account and providing receipt of transaction when necessary.
Provides backup assistance to other department personnel as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Applies payments to outstanding accounts and monitors delinquent accounts.
Processes uncollectible accounts received from State Debt Collection.
Maintains records and information within CCAP.
Assists Accounting Technician with various fundamental accounting projects.
Assists Jury Clerk with processing questionnaires and verifying qualifications.
Provide weekly and monthly pay records to Corporation Counsel.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/equivalent and one (1) year previous clerical support/receptionist experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must successfully pass caregiver and/or criminal background check, based upon department assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
